Why Didn’t I Know this Before?

I know what you’re feeling like right now.  Afraid.  How many years have gone by without knowing this information?  How many times have you washed your face, clothing, and dishes with toxic chemicals?

There are many Kiirtan songs which use the words “Baba Nam Kevalam,” which is a Sanskrit mantra that means “Love is all there is” or “Love is the essence of all things.” Kiirtan musical compositions give off a variety of feelings. Some people love it, and some do not.

 

Too many times to count.  But don’t beat yourself up too badly.  How could you have known?

If you want to try meditation on sound, please be sure the music you choose makes you feel relaxed and able to concentrate. You may have to experiment to find the right music for you. It should also be noted that some people do not meditate well with music at all.

 

The simple fact is we’re kept very much in the dark about the chemicals around us.  Many people won’t agree with the connection I’m about to make, but I think it needs to be said:

If you decide to practice meditation while listening to music, at a low volume, you will begin to notice the music fades from your mind. As you continue to focus on sound, you will start to take in the sounds of the world around you without judgment.

As you treat both the inside and the outside of your body, you will find that your skin starts to take on a healthy color almost immediately.

As the color of your skin increases, you will begin to feel younger and healthier all at once. It’s amazing what the right anti-aging skin products can do for you once you understand how skin really works.

Tourism, while the largest industry in Jamaica, is not the only thing Jamaica is known for. This is certainly a land rich in beauty and culture, but it is also an island where you can forget about your life back home, no matter how mundane, for as long as you stay.

fitness manual for individuals on the go, did a survey of hotels and airports where the busy traveler can do an abbreviated or full blown workout while they’re traveling and waiting for their connecting flights.  Here is some information from her work (her book is highly recommended!).

Suzanne Schlosberg performed some helpful due diligence to help the busy traveler by providing the names of major hotels with gym facilities (US only).  An extract from that list: Four Seasons – 95% of their hotels have pools.  All of their fitness centers have cardio and weight machines;

Ritz Carlton – 80% of their hotels have pools Sheraton Hotels and Resorts – pool facility in 95% of their hotels Westin Hotels and Resorts – all of their hotels have pools.

In the last five years, there have been reports about flight passengers, specially in economy class, suffering from DVT – deep vein thrombosis.

The link between confining airplane seats and deaths from DVT (formation of deadly blood clots) has been established by the United Nations World Health Organization.  It has nothing to do with gender, risk factors or genetics.  Everyone is at risk in  economy class! This should constitute compelling reason to integrate exercise while high in the sky. www.brightlife.com to make exercise possible while traveling, schedule your flights so that when you get to your destination, you don’t rush through dinner and then go to sleep. Try to arrive during the late afternoon/early evening, to give you time to shake off the fatigue from the trip, and have at least an hour to do exercises either in your hotel room or in the hotel gym.

Be fully rested before a trip – have the usual “to pack” items ready well in advance so you’re not scampering for them at the last minute, depleting your energy levels. Time your sleep correctly – as soon as you board, get the

local time of your destination and set your watch accordingly.  If it’s already night time in your destination, wear blindfolds and ask for a pillow and try to catch a few winks.

A practical way for limiting the amount you spend on beauty products is to opt for homemade products. You can make the products yourself by purchasing the necessary ingredients and using the instructions available from various books. These products will also be free from the side effects that some store-bough products cause. These side effects are usually caused by chemicals that are added to these products to make them more attractive and powerful. Homemade beauty products as a whole will be much cheaper when compared to store-bought ones.

If you’re crossing the Pacific or Atlantic oceans, those killer flights need not kill you.

The demand for beauty products has been increasing over the years. Subsequently, the rates of these products are also on the rise. Airlines such as Japan Air Lines show videos of how travelers can incorporate flexibility movements while seated or standing.  Take full advantage of these videos.  The exercises may help you ward off fatigue and jet lag.

KAMAFLAGE COVER CREAM

These are waterproof, smudge-resistant, maximum coverage foundations which easily cover acne, marks, vitiligo, rosacea, and other skin blemishes that may appear on the face.

While it might be harder to find a sweat lodge these days, saunas are a more common alternative. Complexion powders  on the other hand, have a greater degree of color  and because they are more opaque, can be used alone. They can also be used with your foundation to set, adjust or enhance.

Fish and green teas are also part of their diets. Dairy, sweets, and beef are eaten rarely or are almost non-existent in their diets. With this knowledge, Asians are also known to have the clearest and healthiest looking skin, do you know a lot of native Japanese with acne problems?

 

Some women wear foundations that are too pink and try to neutralize the redness by finishing with one of our yellow-based powders. We strongly advise against this since this will result in the color of your makeup turning orange. Remember red plus yellow equals orange!

take special care to set your foundation with a loose powder, as heat tends to create slipping or running of your foundation. This is especially so in the case of cream foundation as they tend to have a higher oil content.

Sacha’s Translucent Powders

are light in texture providing a sheer, natural finish. They are lightly tinted and work best with Sacha’s yellow- based foundations.

Choose a blusher that is suited to your skin tone. Choose lighter colors for a fair complexion and darker tones for dark or tanned skin. Place two fingers to the side of your nose. Start your application at the second finger and move up toward the ear line. Smile to show the apples of your cheeks and help with application. Lipstick should also match your skin tone. Use a lip moisturizer regularly to keep your lips smooth and moist. Apply foundation and powder before lip cosmetics. Line the lips with a pencil and then apply lipstick. Use a lip brush for best coverage. Blot the color with a tissue and re apply for best results.

 

The basic idea is, if you use a translucent powder over your foundation or concealer, it will set your makeup without adding too much extra color.

Mascara is available in a variety of formulas: waterproof, thickening and smudge proof. Choose a color that is appropriate for your skin type. Curl the lashes first and then begin to apply mascara. Look up and apply in an upward motion. Reapply is small amounts to avoid clumping. Don’t pump the brush into the container, as this will break the bristles on the brush and shorten the life of this product.

FACE POWDERS

Face powders are an essential step in your makeup routine. They are available in either compact or loose form.  It is important to set your foundation with a loose powder. This helps to keep your foundation in place. Compact powders should be used for touch ups.

Select a foundation that matches your skin tone and is appropriate for your skin type. If you tend to break out, look for oil free, non comedogenic cosmetics. Apply moisturizer before your foundation for a smoother look. Use a sponge and apply foundation in a downward motion from the forehead down to the chin. If you have blemishes or dark circles, apply concealer after the foundation. Brush on loose powder to set. Apply powder using a large brush in the same downward motion.
